In today's changing environment, every airline faces a huge challenge: predict market trends, optimize their commercial offer in terms of number of seats and fare levels, with the main purpose of improving its profitability.
Symon is a Revenue Management System (RMS) for airlines, dedicated to Amadeus™ Altea™ users. Symon conducts complex data extraction and analysis of the flights bookings and fares stored in Amadeus™ reservation and inventory systems, to make accurate business forecast, generate real time reporting for revenue optimization.

Key Modules
A new release of Symon is planned for December 2010 and will be including the following features:

Symon Web provides a graphical interface and allows the user, through various functionalities (graphs, mail subscriptions ...), to:

• Consult the booking rates and expected revenue from flights scheduled at a given date or date range.
• Display the flights booking rate progression over a given period
• Analyse the breakdown of the booking rates among reservation classes or fare classes
• Obtain an overview of the bookings rates over a period of three months for each sector, with a comparison of the same data on the same period the previous year.

R'Spy is a competition monitoring tool, using Amadeus™ GDS, which allows the user, via a graphical interface, to:

• List the events and irregularities occurring between two dates (flight removal, opened or closed class, flight schedule change ...)
• List the last opened classes, per sector and airline
• Browse for a given date, the commercial offer over a defined period
• Display the variation in seat availability per class over a given period
• Compare the fares applied per sector and class by the different airlines

R'Vol is a daily-based commercial activity follow-up tool, using PFS messages received from the stations served by the airline. This module is dedicated to EDGAR (Maureva's passenger revenue accounting software) users.
For each flight and each service class, the following information is accounted:

• The number of boarded passengers, booked PAD, Non-booked PAD
• The number of passengers with No-show, Go-Show, No-Rec, Offload status
• The estimated revenue of the flight (linked with Edgar™ data)
• The equipments and offers calculated per service class and sector
• The booking rate per service class

Configuration
Oracle RDBMS-based server (Linux, Unix, Windows etc)
Clients: PC (Windows) or any client with Java browser (including Linux or Windows-based thin client).

Hosting solutions
MARGO is available either as in-house software or via an Application Service Provider.
MARGO can also be operated directly by our Outsourcing Revenue Accounting Services Department.
